My garden has gotten off to a great start this year and I am so excited about it. Last year I was a little late getting all the veggies planted and ended up getting a very small amount of produce. This year I was able to plant the middle of April, courtesy of my "walls of water" that kept them warm and it has made all the difference. This box that we put out in the middle of the playground where it gets good sun is doing the best. L to R: Peas, zucchini and banana squash, cucumbers (the zucchini is hiding them), and tomatoes.

This view shows a bit better how big the plants are getting.

I even found 2 little tomatoes growing! Yay!!

In another box I have: Lettuce, strawberries, and celery.

My watermelon and honeydew didn't survive unfortunately, but I still have: Crenshaw melon, zucchini, onions, and banana squash. I like my squash, can you tell?:) Last year I only got 1 measly little zucchini and no banana, so I am determined to grow them out my ears this time.

My last box is full of just Roma tomato plants, which are a little windblown at the moment. I have planted 9 tomato plants total. I am officially out of salsa and need to make more this fall, and I am already craving those tomato sandwiches...yum!

Last but not least... our raspberry bushes. I can't believe how tall they are getting! I am expecting to pick some berries from them this year... I will keep you posted on that.

Your garden looks great, we planted late and ours is looking a little pathetic. I had to buy tomatoes today, I can't wait to eat them fresh from the garden.
It looks so good!!! Warning, your starwberries and rasberries will take over in no time. It can get crazy. So awesome. Gardening is unbelievably very fun.
