Emmi's Dance Recital

After attending my mother-in-law's dance recital for the last 9 years, I finally got to go and watch my own little dancer. The recital turned out great and my mother-in-law, Kim, did a wonderful job, as usual. It had been a very long day by the end, and Emmi did pretty good considering her age. She cried during the finale, seemed to be the only one waving in the audience saying "Hi Mama" before each dance, and about fell off the stage trying to get to us before the first number. I believe she was the youngest dancer in the bunch, so I guess it was to be expected. All in all, I thought she did great and was very proud to be her mama.

By the way... if anyone in my area is looking for a good dance studio, Kim is currently doing sign-ups for this fall. Check out her website-utahvalleysantaquindance.blogspot.com!!

I am so relieved that Emmi has her Mama's dancing ability, not her Gma's! I was one proud grandma!
