Happy Birthday "B"!!

My cute Dad's birthday was today, and I just wanted to take a moment and tell you a few things I love about him. I love his friendly personality. I cannot think of a single person who I have ever heard of that didn't like him. He makes friends very easily and is very warm and caring. In fact, I remember wanting him to take of me when I was sick as a little girl, because he would always spoil me with Popsicles, and Sprite.

I love that he works for the security department of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and he has since I was very young. I have always admired his testimony and willingness to protect our faith, and I love to hear all of his cool stories and experiences. I think that it also says a lot about him that for the last few years he has been given the assignment of driving President and Sister Monson to General Conference. I know it is a great honor to him and one he takes very seriously.

I love him and all of his "gadgets." My Dad is all about the newest and latest technologies and spends a lot of free time with them. It is very normal to call the house and be told that is down on his computer "shooting Nazi's" on one of his games. It is great to be able to talk and compare about computers, cameras and phones with him and get good advice.

Last but not least, I love how hands-on of a Grandpa he is. Since his first grandchild (my Keaton) was born, he has been following the kids around, making sure they stay out of trouble and harms way. My kids love him to pieces, and to my Mom's dismay, usually ask for him.

We are lucky to have you Dad. We love you and hope you had a wonderful birthday!

Thanks for the cute post about your father. He truly is a good man, one that loves his children and especially his grandchildren! I am a very lucky woman to claim him as mine.

What a perfect post for a great Dad! Thanks for paying tribute to our gadget-driven father, he deserves all the love and praise for all of his hard work. And I finally got my Amish Bread and it's "fermenting" in my apartment as we speak. I'm stoked to try to bake it! Love you!
