Now as I have really gotten addicted to blogging, I am thinking of upgrading my digital camera. My little camera hasn't done too bad, but I can tell a difference in the quality, and it is very annoying to have to correct the majority of my pictures! I have had my tiny pentax optio for 3 or 4 years, so I think it is time for a change. I have spent a few hours online reading reviews and trying to decide what I want, but it all sounds the same to me. I was hoping that you, my readers could tell me if you have a camera that you really like and would like to reccommend (or ones to avoid). That should steer me in the right direction and pick out a goody! Thanks for your help!!

I did a bunch of research on this in September and October. Canon and Nikon are by far the BEST brands to buy. I have a Canon and absolutely love it. Previously I had a Pentax and it didn't take good pictures at all. Costco has some great buys right now. Good luck!
I'm with Candace. Those two brands are by far the best. I also have a cannon and LOVE it. The Cannon Rebel XTi is what I have and it is amazing although somewhat pricey and is probably more if you are wanting to really start getting into photography. If you are more just looking for a good camera to take some great snapshots with, I have heard a little about the cannon powershot G9. I don't know a ton about that one so you'd want to look into it a bit more, but from what I hear, it is pretty good. Good luck!
