" Snowies!!" The boys and I have been waiting anxiously the last couple weeks for the "now open" sign to appear on our little corner sno shack. There really is nothing better on a hot summer day, and we are planning to visit the shack quite often this year. Growing up I was fortunate enough to live by a "Rainbow Sno" and I remember begging to go get one nearly every afternoon, whether it was with my best friend Becki or little sister Erin. I still haven't outgrown it, because I think I dragged my boys there more than they really cared to go last year. I can foresee that that will change- Keaton ate half of his by time we reached the truck and finished it not even 5 min after we walked in our door. Last year, he might have finished it twice!! Oh, snowies, what would we do without ya!!

Another sign of summer approaching, we have grass!!! Saturday I was Chad's trusty assistant as he put the new swing set together, and complete with the new grass, we can't keep the boys inside! The last few weeks we were able to get the curbing done and the wood chips brought in, yea! The next project, the deck. But what a change from the dirt, huh!

Ah, those were the days Sare! I actually had my first rainbow sno the other day and still enjoyed it as much as I ever have. Gotta love the "tigers blood!" I love that you drag your boys there with you and I love even more that they are getting hooked! I and also glad to have "an excuse" to visit the sno shack a lot this summer. It's all for my little guy of course (yeah right. I gotta have them!) But really...those were the good old days!
Your yard looks amazing! It looks completely different now and I'm sure all of that hard work behind you must feel great to have such a beautiful place for you and your family to enjoy! I love the swing set too! Way to go!
Sara, your yard looks so good...you are going to have a great summer!
Your yard looks great! If we ever need help with our yard, we'll hire Chad!
How Fun Sara! It looks like Kid Heaven back there! Good work on it all!! Enjoy your summer!!
Yes, indeed Beaner and Becki did visit the Rainbow Snow quite often and even if they would sneak up, the evidence was on their tongues!. I am glad that it is one of your pleasant childhood memories Beaner, one that you plan on sharing with your own children. It is amazing what a cup of flavored ice can do
love you more,
momma
Thanks for the cute post Bean, I don't know what we would have done without Rainbo Snow! I can't even tell you how many times I've told Rob about how incredible it is and he still doesn't believe me. We'll have to initiate him this summer because I know that he will be hooked!
Your grass looks fabulous! I had no idea that you guys spent all day Saturday working so hard...why didn't you tell me?! Forget having the next BBQ at the compound, we have to celebrate your grass! I love you!
Sare, I want a snowie! I just wanted to tell you that your boys are adorable.
I'm jealous of your yard! I've been in my house for two years and it's still dirt and weeds! We don't even have a fence up yet!
Love, Chelsea
Look at your fun yard!!! That is so great. And the snowies I cant wait for them to open up here. It's still rainin like its april!
Love ya
Okay this is Lydia's friend Leah again. Tell her she is busted! She hasn't emailed me. Do you have her email address by chance? Would you mind emailing it to me at leahefish@gmail.com. I would call her but I don't have her number.
Your backyard looks awesome! I am way jealous. How fun for your boys.
Your yard it awesome! We hope to aspire to that someday! That is a lot of work you have put into it!. WE LOVE SNOWCONES TOO! We have one snow shack that we will only go too and it is yummy. Yeah for summer
Your yard looks incredible! So different from the photos you posted earlier! How fun for your kids. I had my first "taste" of summer this past weekend from a rainbow snow. Do you remember those? It brought back so many memories! I love how kids can really keep us young!
