Hello Friends and FamilyJust recently a few of my very good friends introduced me to the world of blogging. It was so fun to see pictures of their cute kids and read what is going on with them, that I have decided to give it a shot and start my own blog site for my little family. (A big thankyou to Becki and Candace for getting me going on this). Naturally, I have to start with an introduction of the three little midgets that I spend my days and (arrghh!) nights with. This is Keaton, Emmi and Sam posing so uncommonly well for the camera.
This hansome little face is Keaton Chad, our first born. At home we don't usually call him Keaton, but "Keek", his nickname since he was only a few months old. He is currently 4 years old and is in his second year of preschool. He is such a quiet little guy until you get him talking about diggers or big machinery, in which case he talks a mile a minute!! He is all about construction like his daddy. This is him on a carnival ride in Star Valley Wyoming during our family reunion this summer. Sam was supposed to ride with him, but got scared and opted out. You can tell by the look on his face that Keek didn't mind at all being all by himself.
Next is Samuel Hess, or "Sammers" as we like to call him. He is 2 years old and is a little ball of energy. This little one has only one level, LOUD!! He is complete opposite of his brother in about every way possible, yet amazingly, they are the best of friends. Sam is very curious and gets into everything like most 2 year olds do. When Sam is quiet, it almost always means he is doing something naughty, which keeps me on my toes. His little devilish grin always makes me smile and melts my heart. I think he knows he's got his Mama wrapped around his finger! And finally, we were blessed with our first little girl just this last May. This is Emmi Elizabeth, now almost 6 months old. She is a very happy baby and so easy to take care of. Emmi has a big grin and can be quite the charmer to those who smile at her. The only challenge she presents is in trying to keep her brothers from mauling her to death. They fight over her all day long and will do anything to make her laugh.
