I am so very happy to tell you that we again have hit another milestone in our "Dave" program. On December 30th, Chad walked into our credit union and paid the balance that we owed on our minivan. For the last 10 years, (basically our whole married life), we have had a car payment. This is big, big news for us. We only have our student loans and our mortgage in terms of debt, and it is an amazing feeling. I am very grateful that Chad has the drive and determination to get us out of debt as fast as possible. We are slated to be able to pay off the student loans by summer, and I can't wait for that to happen. Hooray for progress!

J0n & I have not had a car loan in 5 years it is an amazing feeling to know you don't have $$$ going out the door.
I am a firm believer in saving the $$$ and walking in and paying cash. That is how we got our van, granted it is big and ugly but it is paid for! Way to go !
Way to go! That is great news Sara!!! I'm jealous! We just went from 1 car payments to 2. I hate it! Love the Dave Ramsey DVD's you gave us. They are awesome. We have implemented a few things from them into our life, but still need to get fully on board!
