Better late than never, I wanted to share the pictures we took for Easter. My mom had an Easter egg hunt, and eggs for the kids to dye. What made it extra fun was using these big butterfly nets to hold their treasures. The only problem, was that they were pretty long and when taken inside the house, it seemed like Sam was trying to make me headless! That was enough of that and much to Sam's disappointment the egg-filled nets were placed in the truck until we arrived home. A couple of days later, my boys have played with the nets so much that they are completely covered in holes and useless, but I'm sure it will be an egg hunt they will remember.

Neither my sister Abby nor I planned ahead enough to bring extra clothes for the kids to dye the eggs, so we had to take their shirts off. They didn't seem to mind of course. I think they look pretty silly, but what do ya do, huh! I hope you all had a great Easter too!

Sare - Your kids keep getting bigger and your little peanut is adorable. I think it's easy for me to remember your Bday b/c it falls on the same day at Stef's. So I always know Sare and Stef's Birthdays are on the 20th. I love ya and hope you had a good one.
I love the topless Easter egg party! Too bad Rob and I missed all of the fun with the nets too! But I'm glad that we weren't around to see Sammers fall, it makes me sad just thinking about it!
Even though Jeff wanted Abby to dye eggs along with the kids, I told him that it was only for the kids and that Abby had to keep her shirt on! I truly do have "one of a kind" son-in-laws but I do love each of them. They are all goobers! I am thankful for holiday traditions that I hope will continue on. The kids did seem to have a nice day which was my goal. I did however miss the my Dad, holidays might be a little tough for the next little while. Thanks Beaner for the cute pictures so that everyone that reads your blog will know with a certainty that my grandbabies are the cutest! You know that this is a grandma's right to make such statements!!!
Love you more,
momma

I like the net idea. I bet they loved playing with them. What a cute family. I love the side pictures of your kids, so cute!
Shirts off is the way to go! Cute pictures!!
Love the pictures! The egg hunt looks fun and I can just imagine Sam almost taking your head off with his net! Emmi is adorable too and it is crazy to think she is coming up on a year already!
